Therapy FAQS

General & Insurance FAQS

  • Our standard rate for clients without health insurance is $200 per individual session and $260 per couple’s counseling session. You may still be covered under your insurance policy, as most insurance companies do offer reimbursements via out-of-network benefits.

I am also available on certain weekends. Weekend sessions are $230 per individual session and $290 per couple's session.

  • Currently, for therapy sessions, we are only accepting clients from Texas. However, if you are looking for coaching sessions, you do not need to be residing in Texas.

  • We are not accepting health insurance currently.

  • Mental health benefits are specific to your individual plan. We suggest calling the number on the back of your card and asking the following questions:

    • What are my mental health benefits?

    • How much does my insurance pay for an Out-of-network (OON) provider?

      • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it?

      • Have I met my deductible? If not, how much is left before it is met?

      • Do I have a co-pay?

      • Do I have a secondary insurance plan for Mental/Behavioral Health?

  • Payment is due at time of service and a credit card is required to be kept on file at all times. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AmericanExpress.

  • Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is canceled less than 24 hours prior, the full fee will be charged. If you’d like to cancel your appointment, please e-mail us at info@balancedmindstherapy.com or call us at 281-500-8661
